The Day of Giving originated by a vision from The College of the Muscogee Nation Campus Security. It was a prayerful desire to help the students on campus with school supplies, hygiene items, and other necessities. The first Day of Giving was held in November of 2019 through donations from the campus community and the public. Over the previous 3 years, this event has tripled in size. Many churches, tribal departments and community members support this event. Within the past three years, the Day of Giving has provided items for 400-600 students. This year, 2022, CMN will be hosting the Day of Giving for the 4th year in a row with plans to host the event outside because of such tremendous growth. The event will be held September 21, 2022 on campus for CMN students and September 24, 2022 at the Muscogee Creek Nation Dome for the community.
